Andrine Belliveau DVM

Owner, veterinarian

Dr. Andrine Belliveau grew up in Bolton, Massachusetts. She fostered her interest for animals early on in life, raising goats and sheep through 4-H as a child. She attended Cornell University and received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and then went on to obtain her DVM from Tufts University in 2011. She has worked in both general practice and emergency medicine. She has special interests in internal medicine, emergency surgery, and dentistry.  Dr Belliveau built a small home in Naples, Maine in 2012 and moved to South Windham in 2022.  She has worked at Lake Region Animal Hospital since 2012, mostly as a part-time veterinarian while working full-time in emergency care. In 2019 she purchased Lake Region Animal Hospital from Dr. Griffin and his wife Lisa, who have decided to retire, and she is now available for appointments full-time at Lake Region.
In her spare time, Dr. Belliveau enjoys hiking with her dog and sampling the local microbrews in Maine.  If she can manage a full week off from work, you can usually find her on a plane as she loves to travel. One of her favorite places to visit is the Highlands of Scotland. She is happily owned by an English Shepherd named Bennett, and 3 cats – Bergie (go Bruins!), Dalwhinnie and Astrid.

Currently, my household consists of my son and 4 cats. My motto is that there is always room for one more! Jennifer has been a veterinary technician with Lake Region Animal Hospital since 2010.

Nick is a Veterinary Assistant that joined our staff in July 2021. Eve Ladd

Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

My husband, Peter and I moved to Maine from Arizona 20 years ago with trailer in tow, 5 dogs, 6 cats and 2 horses.  I never thought I would fall in love with Maine, but the people of Maine changed my mind very quickly.
I was lucky to land my position at Lake Region Animal Hospital where I joined an amazing group of co-workers.  I may be a little slanted, but I do believe we have some of the finest clients an establishment such as ours could hope to have.   It is an honor to get to know each and every one of them, as well as their beautiful 4-legged children.
